| The Stockton United Soccer Club is a non-profit organization that has been providing recreational soccer for adults in Stockton and the San Joaquin County since 1978. SUSC organizes leagues and tournaments to support Stockton United club teams & scholarships. SUSC operates a spring and fall soccer league. In the fall, we offer Coed, Men's 30 & over and Men's 39 & over divisions. For the spring we offer Women's open & Men's open divisions along with the older Men's divisions. Up to thirty two teams will compete in these divisions. One of the fun social events Stockton United puts on is the annual Christmas party. In years past it was held at the Elkhorn Country Club and the Spanos Reserve in Stockton. This year it was held at Paragary's Restaurant, thursday Dec. 18th. Good food, a white elephant gift exchange and dancing allowed members to socialize in a setting other than soccer. Guarenteed a good for all who participated. Click on the above Xmas tab for more info. SUSC sponsors many club teams that travel to tournaments throughout the United States & beyond. Foremost is the "Wanderpokal". The forty two year old tournament is the oldest Men's masters tournament west of the Mississippi. We have traveled to Chicago, LA and Vancouver among others for this tournament. SUSC has sponsored three teams for this tournament. All have done well. In 2007 it was held in Anaheim, in 2008 it was in Santa Clarita. This year it was held in Vancouver, Canada. Both the 35 & Over and the 45 & Over teams took 2nd place. Our 55 & Over team took 3rd place. A outstanding job for all the Stockton United teams. In 2010, SUSC has been awarded host of the Wanderpokal Tournament. Other tournaments SUSC have participated in are the Gold Cup, Kelly Cup, King Cup and Soccer in the Sun. SUSC has a board meeting usually once a month. Usually the second tuesday of the month at Cancun Restaurant, Miner Ave. in Stockton. Starts at 7pm. Board meetings for the most part are open to the public. For more information contact us at info@stocktonsoccer.net |
